“My parents joke that I’ll never be done with school, because there is so many things to learn”, says Alexandria, “I feel passionate about education, because it is a true privilege.” I LOVE that perspective. Doing college graduation sessions is one of my favorite things, and working with Alexandria was special, as well as fun! I worked with her sister Maddie, who was one of my senior models in the past, and both of them are wonderful young women. Their parents should be very proud! Alexandria is celebrating the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in English Lit from the University of San Francisco, and will be working next on her Masters in teaching. She shared that the teachers she had in middle school greatly influenced her decision to become an educator herself, and that college has taught her the value of hard work and use of her time.
Some of her favorite college memories have included living in the city, going to the beautiful parks, and exploring the Bay Area. Another special moment was getting to go to Portugal, her first solo trip abroad. She was able to explore and meet so many new people, and felt it grew her as a person. Next, she plans to star applying for jobs, but hopes to enjoy a relaxing summer in the meantime. Alexandria adds that her dream job would be to help people and can’t wait to see where her passion for teaching will take her.
