As soon as Jesse’s senior session started, I fell in love with her personality. She’s laidback and so funny, and she made the shoot into a wonderful time. She’s graduating from North Point High School, and she’s heading off to Sierra College to study kinesiology. I loved the outfits she chose for her session, and the locations were great. She was definitely the highlight of the shoot, and an incredibly gorgeous one at that! While she was apprehensive at first to have her senior photos taken, she become comfortable in front of the lens very quickly, and loved how her photos turned out. She was a natural!
Jesse is a people-person, and it shows. She loves supporting her family, and goes to each one of her brother’s baseball games, and makes sure that all of her family and friends knows that she’s always there for them. Some of her favorite times and memories are spent with her friends, and it’s often where she feels most comfortable and confident. She especially feels that way around her mother, who inspires her the most: “She’s been working hard all of her life”, she says, “and was still always there for us the whole time.” Jesse has a caring heart, and I loved capturing her lovely personality.
We wanted to have a mix of urban and nature in our locations, and Jesse looked great in both. I took advantage of the sunny afternoon for some great backlight, and the colors of the backgrounds worked perfectly. Jesse and her sense of humor made the day, and I loved chatting with her. She talked to me about overcoming obstacles: “School was always hard for me, because I’m dyslexic. It was difficult being stuck in a classroom, and the schoolwork was tough for me. While I value learning from a trial, it feels great to graduate!” What a strong and lovely girl she is!
She had some very kind words to say after our session: "Lisa was really great to work with, because she makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed. I really did not want to go through this process, but I agreed to do it for my mom. But once you get to know Lisa, she makes it very fun, and the end result I really enjoyed. I love my photos! I highly recommend her to everyone.” Thanks Jesse! I wish you all the best as you enter this new chapter of life.
