Enchanting. That’s the word that comes to mind when I look back on Kenzie and her session. Everything about it was magical: the location, the light, the setup, and of course Kenzie herself. She’s graduating from Rocklin High School in the top of her class, and she’s moving on to the University of Alabama to study nursing. She’s a very caring soul, and an industrious one, as she’s involved with cheer and stunt. It’s one of her passions to be instructing for the junior cheer program, and she loves sharing everything she’s learned over the years.
Kenzie’s shoot took place on a wonderfully beautiful day. We had it at a couple different locations: the orchard, and out in the country. Kenzie’s a country girl to the core, and she loved being outdoors in the fresh air and the sunlight. Her style is one perfectly suited for her personality, a blend of country and chic, and you can see her infectious confidence in her session photos. It’s that sort of confidence that I love to see in young ladies, and it’s my passion to help everyone realize that who they are is someone that they can always have confidence in.
I can never say enough about how much I love to build up and encourage each one of the seniors I have the privilege of photographing. I think it’s so important to have that sort of support in your life, and having a gorgeous set of photos that does just that is invaluable. That’s my goal for each session, to give you something that you can hold onto on those days when the world has lost its luster, and you no longer believe that you can accomplish what you put your mind to. If the senior portraits I give you help you to believe again that you are beautiful, worthy, and able to do anything you want to, then I’ve succeeded!
Kenzie is one of those ladies that I’ll remember for a long time. I love learning from everyone I meet, and she inspired me in many ways. I know that she can do everything she puts her mind to, and that she’ll be one of the most wonderful nurses to grace the earth. I wish you all the best, Kenzie!
