Meet Lexi! She’s a wonderful young lady who’s part of my senior squad this year. We had a great time on our urban shoot, and we had lots of laughs along the way! She’s graduating from Nevada Union High School, and she’s off to college at Notre Dame De Namur University. There, she’ll study kinesiology, and be well on the road to working in that field. I loved her street style, and we made good use of downtown to get that urban feel. When Lexi isn’t at school, you can find her out running or playing travel softball. Those are two of the many things she’s very passionate about, and she disciplines herself to work hard at them every day!
Lexi has been planning her trek to college for a while; It’s something that gives her confidence, and she’s proud of her ability to accomplish her goals. In her free time, she loves to hike around the mountains, and she’s very artistic, since she loves to paint, too! She’s a big fan of art and nature, so we utilized both in our session. We visited the river, and Lexi and I loved how the pictures came out. Her natural beauty accentuated the beauty of the area, and the water in the background playing off of her looks gave it a very refreshing feel.
She loved the opportunity of being on my senior squad, and I cherish the privilege of taking her portraits! A previous member of the squad referred Lexi to me, and she was so excited to be a part of the team. She said that once she saw my photos, she fell in love with them. To me, those two things are a couple of the greatest compliments I can ever receive. It’s what makes me love my job all the more: getting to be a part of these girls’ lives, and doing my favorite thing at the same time. What a gift it is to be a photographer!
