It was a pretty day for Hannah’s session, pretty enough to keep on par with Hannah herself. I had so much fun with Hannah, out in the green fields and hopping from rock to rock, trying not to fall into the brook. Hannah is graduating from Colfax High School, and is interested in nursing. She plans on heading onward to Chico State to study nursing, in the fall. She’s a passionate person, and loves to volunteer her time around to help others whenever she can. That’s one of the things she loves to do the most, especially helping younger children. She also loves to snowboard, and hiking is a must! She likes to stay active, by going out with friends, and working out. These things give her her confidence: She takes a holistic approach, working to stay healthy both mentally and physically.
While her spirit is youthful, she has a maturity to her that is beyond her years. Her experiences in school helped make her into the person she is now. She said, “When I first joined the snowboard team, I had no clue how to snowboard. I was extremely nervous and self-conscious, but the team welcomed me, and always encouraged me to push myself. I ended up making state competitions both my junior and senior year!” As you can see from our session, Hannah has great fashion sense. In fact, that’s one of the things she wants her classmates to remember her for! If our session is anything to go off of, I know I won’t be forgetting her passion, confidence, or style anytime soon.
Hannah chose me because Colfax High School staff and students referred me. The talk of the school is that I make the shoots fun, and my clients comfortable. This is something I strive for, and I’m so happy that I’ve been meeting that goal for years! Referrals are huge, and they not only help me out, but they help out any potential clients as well. It can be tough to find a solid and fun photographer, especially one that makes you feel comfortable enough to be photographed.
I’m glad I was able to work with Hannah, and I wish her all the best as she progresses toward the noble goal of nursing!
