There’s an idea that if you wear glasses, you’re a smart person. I don’t know if that’s true for everyone, but glasses or no, Emma is one of those people! An active member of my senior squad, she’s coming out of Nevada Union High School, and is using her smarts to study English so she can become a professor. She’s a cheerful girl, happily devoting her time to school, serving coffee at Java Johns, and volunteering at the Nevada Union FFA. Animals are her thing, and she loves helping out and being involved with FFA. Emma loves nature, and for her shoot she wanted to be surrounded by it. We chose from a long list of beautiful locations, but our favorite was the mountain meadow that you can see in the pictures below. The meadow gave it a unique, natural feel that worked well with Emma’s gorgeous looks.
Emma’s a casual girl, who loves to make subtle impressions on others. Her calm, casual demeanor gives her confidence, and her comfortability with herself gives everyone around her the same level of confidence. Her dedication to forgiveness, regardless of the circumstance, is inspiring, and the constant joyfulness that you see in her consistent smile brightens everybody’s day. Emma’s pretty soul wasn’t made in a vacuum, though: her personality was crafted through the experiences in her life, one of those being knee surgery. It was a hardship that involved commitment to recovery, and a real sense of support coming from her family, friends, and boyfriend. Her love is a big part of her life, and he’s her favorite memory coming out of high school.
Her inspiring spirit comes from her dad. “I really look up to my dad. He made something big of himself coming from very little, and has accomplished so much in so little time.” she said, “He’s what inspires me to be a part of something bigger than myself.” She’s outspoken, not afraid to speak her mind when things start getting tough, or when someone needs some encouragement. She’s someone I’d love to be around, and I’m sure her classmates will be sad to see her go. But we’re all happy she’s pursuing her goals, and living the dream! Good luck Emma!
