The ladies on my senior squad are some of the most wonderful women I have had the privilege to know. Their character, drive to learn, and servant’s heart is inspiring, and I’m honored to have girls like Sophie on my team! She’s graduating from Rocklin High School, and is keeping her future open to opportunities. Her passion lies in teaching, and her hope is to put that passion into motion soon. Sophie is a patient, bubbly girl, who genuinely cares for others: all qualities a good teacher has. And, she’s beautiful to boot!
Our session went smoothly, and the photos turned out so pretty! I loved the colors of the trees; the yellow leaves contrasted against Sophie’s gorgeous red dress, and the close-ups with the golden trees in the background highlighted her stunning hazel eyes. She’s not just a pretty face, though! She keeps busy with cheer and stunt for her extracurriculars, and she’s going to really miss both of them once she graduates. She envisioned a shoot surrounded by nature, and we found a beautiful area that made her vision a reality! The yellows, blues, earth tones and the bold colors from her outfits each complimented each other beautifully, and made for some of my favorite shots.
Sophie’s inspiring qualities come from her mother, who has been one of my personal friends for over 40 years: “My mother is so strong”, she says, “and she’s always there for me when I need her. She’s one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out. Without her influence, I wouldn’t be half the woman I am today!” When determining who will be on the senior squad each year, I have a lot of things to look for in someone before I decide. Whether it’s a hard work ethic, proven dedication to the community, commitment to studies, or something like it, it’s girls like Sophie that I love to have representing me and my work! I know that she’s going places, and I wish her all the best on her journey getting there!
